You may want to bring Jeans to Japan

Yesterday I wanted to buy some Jeans so I went to a local store in Chiba, Japan and could not believe what I saw.
These Jeans in this pic cost 180 dollars!
OK, the store did have cheaper jeans but 80 dollars is not so cheap. Maybe you can find Jeans like this at the Good Will back home (USA) for ten dollars.
If you come to Japan, bring your own Jeans and maybe an extra pair wouldn’t hurt.
Oh, I have a 36 waste and it seems this is close to the biggest size you will find here. You can find bigger sizes but your choices will be limited.
When I go home for vacation, I always buy pants and shirts because of the size and price issues.

Those prices are insane, man! Insane! I would be far too cheap to pay that.
and to think, I’m grumpy if I have to pay $40.
That’s not only expensive, but size-wise, plain old crazy.
Surfed in via BE.. Jeans anywhere outside North America, in my opinion, are crazy ridiculously expensive. Like, you wouldn’t believe what a pair of Levi’s go for in France.. something like two or three times what they sell for here. You can’t beat European or foreign styles, but sometimes it makes me so happy we have places like Old Navy and T.J. Maxx.
I think the mark up on jeans must be about 1 million “, as the majority of them are made in foreign sweat shops for pennies.
Quite liked reading your blog.

So what? Here in NYC, I can find $200 jeans…Paper & Denim, Dolce, etc.
Levi’s seem unusually expensive here too, about 80 or so dollars, maybe more. So many people want them, they have made these horrible knck offs of Levi’s as well, really poor in quality.
I’m hoping I can find cool clothes in Hong Kong.
Yeah, I use to go to Japan allot - months at a time. I made lots of $$$ bringing over jeans and selling them. Some porn too - but that was a little scarrier at the airport customs. Was I bad? LOL

I’ve always wanted to go to Japan, but as of yet, haven’t made it. I know it is very expensive there to live as well. Jeans were high in Europe too, and I could have made a killing every time I went just selling the American favorites I brought with me. I enjoyed browsing through the photos and now….I must go find some curry rice! looked delish.
I suppose those are special kinds. Normally, they cost 25 dollars or something in Japan.
